The drawing markup tools

Clouds, boxes, arrows, notes and highlights on the drawing, with an export of the marked-up sheets. Markup is decoration: it carries no quantity.

Steps

1. In the digitiser expand the Markup group on the toolbar. No scale is needed.
2. Box, Ellipse and Revision cloud: drag a rectangle on the sheet. Arrow / line: drag from start to end; the Arrow toggle puts a head on it.
3. Behind the chevron: Text box and Label box (drag, type, Enter), Callout (click the target, then drag the note), Pen and Highlighter (hold and draw).
4. The Style strip appears while a tool is armed or a markup is selected: colour, line width, opacity, fill pattern, font size and alignment.
5. Click a markup to select it; Delete removes it. Every markup is listed in the right rail under the measurements.
6. The Export button downloads a PDF of every page with measurements or markup, plus the quantity schedule.
