Your price database: resources

Create a database, set its currency, and enter groups and resources by hand. Everything you price comes from here.

Steps

  1. Databases in the top bar. A new company starts with an empty Master Library; rename it from its gear, or click New Database at the bottom of the left column, name it, pick the Currency and Create.
  2. Click Add group to make a category (Membranes, Insulation, Labor…). Groups can stay empty while you build.
  3. Click Add row. Type a Description (a code is suggested), choose the Type — material, labour, plant, subcontract or other — then Unit and Rate. Add & next keeps the dialog open for a list.
  4. Every cell edits in place: double-click, type, Enter. Edits save automatically; the strip above the grid reads Live.
  5. Waste % on a resource is the default uplift for that material wherever it is used. Labor and plant never carry waste.
  6. Click a group in Categories before adding rows and they land in that group. Search rows… filters a long list.
  7. The gear beside the database opens Database settings: name, currency, sales tax, and the versions section with Take a snapshot….
There is no Publish button The database is live: every edit saves as you make it. Versions are snapshots you take deliberately, and an estimate keeps the version it was built against.
